Trained at the University of Pennsylvania in periodontics and periodontal prosthesis, and practicing for more than 25 years, Dr. Ribeiro works on both sides of a healthy smile: the gums and bone that hold everything in place, and the teeth, crowns and implants built on top of them. So your first visit is read by someone who catches what a routine check-up often misses.
He sits with you, in English, Spanish or Portuguese, and explains what he sees in words that make sense. Modern technology, genuinely human care — here you're treated as a guest, never as a chart. What exactly do I get for $120?
A complete first visit: exam and consultation with Dr. Ribeiro, full-mouth X-rays and a dental cleaning (Prophy). That's the full price for the visit — nothing else is charged that day.
What if my gums need a deep cleaning?
The $120 includes a regular cleaning. If there's gum disease, what you need is a deep cleaning — a different, more involved treatment that costs more. We'll show you what we found, explain why, and give you the exact price before anything is done. You decide from there.
Do you take my insurance?
We work with PPO and HMO plans — Delta, Cigna, MetLife, Aetna, Humana, Guardian, Ameritas, United, Florida Blue, Careington and Unum, among others. Call us and we'll check your specific plan while you're on the line.
Is this only for gum problems, or for any new patient?
Any new patient. Dr. Ribeiro is a specialist in periodontics and prosthodontics, so gums, implants and rebuilt teeth are his specialty — but the practice covers general, restorative and cosmetic dentistry too: cleanings, fillings, crowns, veneers, whitening, Invisalign. The first visit is the same for everyone: look, explain, and plan together.
I haven't been to a dentist in years. Is that a problem?
Not at all — and you're far from the only one. There's no lecture here. We look, we tell you where you stand, and we sort out what matters most first.
Do you see children?
Our practice is focused on adult and specialty care, so we don't treat children. If you need a pediatric dentist, call us anyway and we'll happily point you to a good one.
Do you speak Spanish or Portuguese?
