COVID-19 Update

We appreciate all of our patients and families for being understanding and supporting us during the last 6 weeks of downtime due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our office is taking many precautions to ensure the safety of both our patients and our team.

We are pleased to announce that we can start phasing back to do more dental treatment and we are prepared. We have been seeing emergencies with limited hours this whole time and have made numerous updates so we can get to our norm of continued safe quality gentle dentistry. If you have had your appointment cancelled during this pandemic, and do not have another appointment date, you can call our office to help us reschedule your appointment. We appreciate your patience as we work to get all of our patients back on the schedule as quickly and efficiently as possible.

WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE YOUR NEXT VISIT:

SCREENING QUESTIONS: Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked these questions again when you come to the office.

CHECK TEMPERATURE: We will be taking the temperature of all patients upon entering and dispensing hand sanitizer.

WEARING MASK TO APPOINTMENT: All patients will be required to wear a mask or facial covering in order to enter our reception area. Please bring a face covering to your appointment to help us conserve PPE for healthcare providers.

COME TO APPOINTMENT ALONE: Please arrive to your appointment alone, unless you are bringing your child, or need to have someone else bring you to your appointment. Anyone accompanying you will be asked to wait in the lobby of the building during your appointment.

SOCIAL DISTANCING: We will do our best to allow more time between patients to decrease waiting times and will limit the number of patients to only one at a time in the reception room. We may ask you to remain in the lobby momentarily.

WHAT WE ARE DOING TO PROTECT YOU:

STAFF SCREENINGS: We are conducting COVID- 19 screenings for all of our staff on a daily basis, including temperature checks and monitoring of COVID-19 symptoms.

STAFF WEARING FACE MASKS: All staff will be expected to wear face masks at all times.

SANITIZING OUR OFFICE REGULARLY: We will be following strict processes to sanitize our office, including wiping door handles, counters, bathroom faucets, and any other common areas multiple times throughout the day to ensure your safety.

TREATMENT ROOMS: All treatment rooms have self-sanitizing dental lines with privacy doors on each operatory. We have installed a new advanced suction that decreases aerosol by 90%.

AIR PURIFIERS: We have installed air purifiers in our office as well as in the A/C system to help keep the air as clean as possible.

INFECTION CONTROL: We are following the updated CDC and OSHA and American Dental Association guidelines to keep our patients and staff as safe as possible. Be ready to see us all covered up!

HAND SANITIZERS: They will be located throughout the offices. Please use them.

Thank you for entrusting us with your dental care. We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sincerely,

Your Team at International Center for Advanced Dentistry
